Welcome to Route 22.
Route 22 operates up to every 20 minutes using fully wheelchair accessible Hybrid double deck buses with highly visible ‘electric blue 22 branding’. The route connects the areas of Aveley and South Ockendon (Belhus) with Lakeside Shopping Centre, Motherwell Way (for the retail park) and Grays.

Route 22 allow easy access to Ockendon Derwent Parade, Lakeside Shopping Center, Tesco Extra, Lakeside retail parks, and Grays town centre (for Morrisons). The routes also serve Grays Railway Station for access to C2C services to London Fenchurch Street and Essex for Southend and the coast.
